TV-Series
Description
Fuusuke Suzuno, known under the alias Gazel, is a character who plays the role of a forward. He serves as the captain of Diamond Dust, which is a master-rank team within Aliea Academy. Later in the story, he becomes a member of the Korean national team, Fire Dragon.

Regarding his background, it is revealed that Gazel, like all other members of Aliea Academy, is not an extraterrestrial but an Earthling from an institution known as Sun Garden. His real name is Fuusuke Suzuno, and he does not require the power of the Aliea rock to achieve his exceptional soccer abilities. His first appearance occurs after the defeat of the Epsilon team, where he delivers a message to Raimon and challenges them to a match.

His personality is defined by being aloof, cold, and direct, with a tendency to make unusual or dramatic remarks, such as offering to teach opponents the coldness of absolute zero. He is portrayed as calm, arrogant, and overconfident in his own skills as a genius and talented soccer player. He has a habit of combing his hair with his fingers, especially when he is tense, excited, or annoyed. Despite his cold exterior, he is not without emotion. He dislikes arrogant people, being treated as weak, and things that are too hot. He also values tranquility and coherent people. When around people he trusts, he can occasionally smile or make jokes, though he tends to hide his affectionate side.

Within the story, his primary motivation is initially to prove his team's strength and destroy Raimon as per Aliea Academy's orders. However, after being punished for not achieving a decisive victory, his motivations shift. Frustrated with the hierarchy of Aliea Academy, he forms an alliance with his rival, Haruya Nagumo, also known as Burn, to create the combined team Chaos to defeat Raimon and show their power to Gran, the captain of Genesis. Later, his motivation evolves further as he is scouted by Aphrodi to join the Korean team Fire Dragon, aiming to compete and win in the Football Frontier International. After losing to Inazuma Japan, he shows good sportsmanship and promises to support Japan.

Key relationships are central to his development. His relationship with Nagumo Haruya, or Burn, is a notable rivalry and friendship. They constantly compete and argue but respect each other's strength, working together effectively as the duo Burn and Gazel in the team Chaos and later as allies in Fire Dragon. He shares a complex dynamic with Gran (Hiroto Kiyama), competing for the position of the strongest team within Aliea Academy. His connection with Aphrodi is also significant, as Aphrodi selects him to join the Korean national team, opening a new chapter for him in the world tournament. His relationship with his own team members is that of a respected, if distant, leader.

The character shows visible development over the series. Initially presented as a cold, arrogant, and intimidating alien, he is later revealed to be an Earthling orphan. His personality softens over time, particularly after joining Fire Dragon. He becomes less arrogant, more friendly, and even greets Inazuma Japan before the match with a changed, less menacing tone. His defeat with Fire Dragon, leading to their elimination, humbles him further, and he accepts the loss gracefully, showing significant growth from his earlier obsession with winning.

In terms of notable abilities, Gazel is left-footed. He is most famous for his powerful shooting hissatsu technique, Northern Impact, which turns the field around him into ice before he sends an ice-covered ball toward the goal. His other moves include the defensive tactic Water Veil, which summons multiple geysers of water. As part of the duo Burn and Gazel, he can perform the combination shoot hissatsu, Fire Blizzard, a shot combining both ice and fire elements. Later, with Aphrodi and Burn, he can execute the powerful three-man combination technique, Chaos Break. His abilities are tied to the wind element, and his movements are capable of conjuring strong gusts of wind. His skills are such that he and Nagumo are noted as having no decrease in power, unlike other Aliea members who rely on the Aliea rock.
