TV-Series
Description
Dylan Keith is a supporting character in the Inazuma Eleven series, recognized as the ace striker for the United States national youth soccer team, Unicorn. He has earned the nickname Mister Goal due to his exceptional scoring abilities. Physically, Dylan has light green-blonde hair that he typically keeps tied back in a small ponytail. One of his most distinctive features is the pair of light blue, opaque glasses or goggles he always wears, which conceal his eyes and give him a unique look. He is most often seen in Unicorn's uniform and team jacket.

In terms of personality, Dylan is an easygoing, positive, and highly energetic individual. He approaches life with enthusiasm and is very friendly, particularly towards those he considers teammates and friends. This friendliness is sometimes quite forward; for example, in the video games, his first meeting with the Japanese goalkeeper Endou Mamoru involves him glomping the surprised player. As a character representing the United States, he frequently mixes English words into his speech, especially the pronouns you and me. When excited or happy about something, he has a notable habit of exclaiming gin gin. He is almost never seen without his best friend and teammate, Mark Kruger, underscoring the deep bond between them.

Dylan's background is tied to his long-standing friendships with several key players on the Japanese national team. He has known the Japanese stars Ichinose Kazuya and Domon Asuka since they lived in the United States, giving their encounters on the international stage a layer of personal history and rivalry. His core motivation is to build the strongest team in America and to compete at the highest level of the Football Frontier International (FFI) tournament. He eagerly anticipates the return of his old friends to the U.S. team, seeing it as the final piece needed to achieve their dream of soaring across the world stage.

Within the story, Dylan plays the role of a formidable rival and later an ally. He and Mark Kruger are introduced as the core of the powerful Unicorn team, a major opponent for Inazuma Japan during the FFI. Dylan is a constant offensive threat, scoring crucial goals in their matches. Despite his team's best efforts, they are eventually eliminated from the tournament by Inazuma Japan, a loss that causes him great disappointment. Later, he puts aside their rivalry to help Inazuma Japan in a crisis, joining a multinational rescue mission to save two kidnapped players from the teams Makai Gundan Z and Tenkuu no Shito. Following this event, he is seen as a supporter, watching and cheering for Inazuma Japan in the final match of the FFI.

Throughout his appearances, Dylan demonstrates notable development as a player who learns from defeat. While his positive and risk-taking nature remains constant, his skills are put to the test when he faces Inazuma Japan's strong offensive and defensive tactics. He proves his adaptability and power by contributing to his team's tactics and combination techniques. On the field, his most notable abilities include several powerful hissatsu techniques. Alongside his inseparable partner Mark Kruger, he can perform the Unicorn Boost, a powerful combination shot. He also participates in a three-player combination technique called Gran Fenrir and is part of the tactical play Rolling Thunder, which he uses to challenge Inazuma Japan's defense. His number is 10, and he plays in the forward position as the team's primary goal scorer.
