Misaki Yamamoto is a first-year high school student in Hatsukoi Limited who serves as the next-door neighbor and childhood friend of the Zaitsu brothers, Mamoru and Misao. She maintains a very open and casual relationship with them, often entering Mamoru’s room through his window without hesitation. Misaki possesses an unusual skill in submission techniques, which she can instinctively perform even while asleep. Despite her easygoing and self-assured demeanor, she initially claims to have no interest in romantic relationships. However, that stance shifts after an encounter with Yuuji Arihara, when he shoves a lollipop into her mouth as a demonstration for his friend; this moment unexpectedly sparks her interest in him. Misaki is also close friends with Meguru and Yuu, and she is the only character in the series who remains completely unafraid of Misao Zaitsu’s intimidating appearance. Physically, she has medium-length black hair and brown eyes. Throughout the story, her role centers on the development of her first romantic feelings, moving from a disinterest in love to an emerging affection for Yuuji. Her notable abilities are her learned submission holds, which she can execute reflexively even when unconscious.
