After being reassigned from the Archangel, she is promoted to lieutenant commander and given command of the Dominion, a sister ship to the Archangel. In this role, she is forced to fight her former crew. During the final battles, she openly disobeys the orders of Muruta Azrael, the Blue Cosmos extremist who has taken control of the Dominion. She orders her crew to abandon ship and tries to prevent Azrael from continuing his genocidal campaign. Azrael shoots her, and she dies alongside him when the Dominion is destroyed.
