Description
Bel Lindon is a supporting character in the anime Basquash!, recognized as one of the main protagonist Dan JD's closest friends and partners-in-crime. He is a teenager with brown eyes and short brown hair, easily identified by his large afro and the goggles he often carries with him. His most distinctive physical trait is his overweight build, though this changes at one point in the story due to circumstances beyond his control.

Within the group, Bel serves a crucial function as the navigator and strategist. His personal dream is to become an architect, and he pursues this ambition by constantly studying the buildings, geography, and layout of Rolling Town, the series' primary setting. This self-taught knowledge of the urban landscape allows him to plot out escape routes and safe delivery paths for Dan's various activities. When the group officially forms Team Basquash, Bel applies his analytical skills as the team's strategist, specifically tasked with setting up markers around town before matches to help guide their play.

Bel has a pronounced love for food and is frequently seen eating snacks or other meals. His passion for eating is a defining personality quirk that contributes to his larger physique. This changes dramatically after an incident involving the Moon Cannon, which results in Bel being thrown in jail. The poor quality of the prison food causes him to lose a significant amount of weight very quickly. The change is so drastic that his friend Ganz jokes that he should write a diet book, though Bel remarks that no one would willingly lose weight by eating prison food. True to his nature, once he is released, he quickly regains his former weight by overeating frequently.

Bel's primary relationship is with Dan JD, whom he supports readily and loyally. He is considered one of Dan's two best friends, often seen alongside another companion, Ganz Bogaerde. His role is that of a reliable and clever supporter, using his intellect and familiarity with the town to assist in Dan's often impulsive plans. After the events surrounding the Legend, Bel seems to take some advice from Ganz to heart, as he is later seen working at a desk job, appearing in a more professional and published capacity. His development shows a shift from a street-smart accomplice to someone applying his talents in a more structured, architectural field. His notable abilities are not athletic but intellectual, centered on spatial awareness, navigation, and strategic planning.
