Korega is the captain of the military of the Land of the Moon. He is a serious, mannered, and tough individual known for his strong sense of duty and unwavering obedience to the Tsuki royal family. His primary motivation is to protect and serve the crown, first under King Kakeru Tsuki and later under Prince Michiru and his grandson Hikaru. In the story, he becomes an ally to Naruto and his team after a coup orchestrated by the minister Shabadaba overthrows the king. Korega leads the loyalist guards and guides the prince and the ninja to a safe refuge in the mountains, providing crucial information about the usurper. He attempts to organize an escape from the kingdom to seek help, but the plan is intercepted by the mercenary ninja working for Shabadaba.
