Movie
Description
Nadare Rouga was a ninja from Yukigakure, the Hidden Snow Village, who served as one of the three primary henchmen under Doto Kazahana. A decade before the events of the film, he participated in the coup that overthrew and killed Sosetsu Kazahana, allowing Doto to seize control of the Land of Snow. Throughout the story, Rouga acted as Doto's right-hand servant, carrying out orders to capture Princess Koyuki Kazahana and eliminate anyone who stood in the way of Doto's ambitions. In terms of personality, Rouga was arrogant and overconfident, often boasting about his own skills and even naming one of his techniques after himself. He carried himself with a sense of superiority and was sometimes disrespectful toward others, reflecting a belief that his abilities placed him above his opponents. His motivations were tied directly to loyalty to Doto, and he showed no hesitation in using force to accomplish his master's goals. Within the story, Rouga served as a recurring obstacle for Team 7. He was the de facto leader of Doto's three-man squad, which also included Fubuki Kakuyoku and Mizore Fuyukuma. His primary confrontation came against Kakashi Hatake, who sought revenge for earlier encounters. In the final battle, Kakashi defeated Rouga using his Raikiri technique, which triggered an avalanche that overwhelmed Rouga, and he was presumed dead as a result. Rouga's notable abilities included the use of a special chakra armor that enhanced his physical capabilities and granted him significant defensive power. He was also a skilled combatant capable of holding his own against high-level opponents. His signature attack was a technique he named after himself, reflecting his egotistical nature. Rouga's development is limited to his role as an antagonist; he does not undergo any personal growth or change, remaining a loyal and aggressive enforcer until his defeat. His key relationship was with Doto Kazahana, whom he served without question, and he maintained a working partnership with his fellow henchmen Fubuki and Mizore, though he appeared to hold the highest status among them.
