Description
Master Luo Wu is the head chef of the Yangquan Restaurant in Guangzhou and serves as the second-in-command of the Guangzhou Chefs Union, making him one of the most influential culinary figures in the region. Despite holding such a high rank, he often appears in daily life as a seemingly ordinary drunk old man, a disguise that hides his true nature. In reality, he is a master chef of immense skill and authority, highly respected throughout Guangzhou’s culinary circles. His advanced age is no hindrance; he possesses remarkable physical strength, earning him the nickname “Superman Chef.” His personality is deceptively laid‑back and unassuming, but beneath that exterior is a perceptive and wise individual who understands the deeper threats facing the culinary world. His primary motivation is to safeguard the traditions of Guangzhou’s cuisine and to oppose the Dark Cooking Society, a shadowy organization that seeks to corrupt cooking for its own ends. He plays a pivotal role in the story by revealing the existence of the Legendary Cookware to Liu Maoxing and his companions, urging them to embark on a journey to find these artifacts in order to fight against the Dark Cooking Society. Luo Wu has a close working relationship with Zhou Yu, the deputy head chef of the Yangquan Restaurant, and acts as a guiding mentor to Mao, providing counsel and direction at critical moments. He does not undergo significant personal development; instead, he remains a steady, authoritative presence who sets the protagonists on their quest. His notable abilities include master‑level culinary techniques befitting his station, leadership over the Guangzhou Chefs Union, and surprising physical vigor that allows him to perform feats far beyond what his age would suggest.
