Description
In the context of the anime Gundam Evolve, specifically within episode 9, the designation Blue Rose refers not to a character in the traditional sense, but to a massive mobile weapon. Blue Rose is the code name for the QRX-006 Geminus, a colossal and experimental mobile armor developed by the Titans. It is a giant, octahedron-shaped craft that can transform into a more humanoid mobile suit form, designed as a powerful Psycommu-based weapon system intended to be the ultimate iteration of the Psycho Gundam lineage.

The background of Blue Rose is that of a top-secret Titans project deployed to decimate Earth Federation Space Force fleets from orbit. Its most fearsome capability is a scattering mega particle cannon with enough power and precision to strike targets on Earth from space, making it one of the first mobile armors in the Universal Century capable of such a feat. To function, the Geminus requires a crew of six Newtype pilots whose minds are synchronized by its advanced Psycommu system, allowing them to operate the machine as a single entity.

In terms of its role in the story, Blue Rose serves as the primary antagonist weapon. It is deployed in orbit where it effortlessly destroys EFSF fleets, forcing the anti-Earth Union group Karaba to launch a desperate counterattack. Three customized Zeta Gundam units, piloted by aces known as Red Snake, Grey Wolf, and White Unicorn, are sent to intercept and destroy this colossal threat. The Geminus demonstrates its overwhelming power by using its Psycommu-controlled remote hands and unmanned mobile weapon units called Hasta to engage the three Zeta suits. Notably, it even attempts to hack the Psycho Neutralizer system of the Red Zeta Gundam, turning the pilot's own technology against her.

Blue Rose lacks conventional personality or motivations as it is a weapon, not a pilot. Its driving force is the mission programmed into its Newtype crew: the complete destruction of enemy forces. Its development is static, as it appears fully realized as a terrifying engine of destruction. The narrative focus is on its technological might rather than any personal growth. The weapon meets its end when Yurii Ajissah, the young Newtype pilot of the Red Zeta Gundam, uses her Psycho Neutralizer to seize control of the Geminus's own remote hand. She then uses that hand to crush the mobile armor's head section, which houses the control room, sending the burning wreckage plummeting into Earth's atmosphere.

The notable abilities of Blue Rose are extensive and reflect its status as a super-weapon. It is equipped with a formidable array of beam weaponry, including numerous mega beam guns and particle cannons. Its primary armaments include a pair of large, Psycommu-controlled detachable hands that can attack independently and the Hasta: eight compact, unmanned Psycommu-controlled mobile units stored in the craft's apex that can perform devastating all-range attacks. Defensively, it is believed to be equipped with an I-field generator to nullify incoming beam attacks, and it possesses the structural integrity and power to perform atmospheric re-entry and land on Earth under its own power. Its most devastating weapon remains the scattering mega particle cannon, which gives it the unprecedented ability to bombard planetary surfaces from space with surgical accuracy.
