Description
Kyōsuke Kishi is an oni, a type of yōkai, who resides in the town of Sakurashinmachi. He serves as the personal secretary and assistant to Hime Yarizakura, the town's mayor, and is also a member of the Hiizumi Living Counseling Office. At eighteen years old, he stands 177 centimeters tall and was born on February 10. He has black hair, gray eyes, and typically wears glasses. A bracelet-like seal on his left wrist suppresses his supernatural oni strength; when he unleashes his true power, two small horns emerge from his head. He is the older brother of Touka Kishi and has known Akina Hiizumi since childhood.
Kyōsuke's personality blends strong professionalism with deep familial loyalty. He is sincere, formal, and adheres to a strict code of duty, taking his responsibilities as the mayor's assistant very seriously. He can appear harsh toward Akina at times, partly because he believes Akina's abilities as the oyakume have not been sufficient to protect the town, and he feels that the yōkai in the human world have suffered as a result. This critical attitude often leads to arguments with Akina, who teases him for having an intense sister complex. Despite these clashes, Kyōsuke and Akina share a close, long-standing friendship and are often seen bickering like old comrades. Kyōsuke is also extremely protective of his younger sister Touka, a trait that other characters often remark upon. He enjoys reading, and his favorite food is beef bowls.
