Description
Irina Luminesk, a vampire from Anival village in Lilitto, bears the weight of societal prejudice as part of a "cursed race." Her childhood shattered at age three when human soldiers razed her village, forcing her to witness her parents’ immolation—an event that seeded an enduring hatred for humanity, intensified by systemic oppression against her kind.

Despite crippling acrophobia, she volunteers as test subject "N44" for the Zirnitra Union’s Nosferatu Project, driven by a fervent desire to reach the moon before humans taint it. Biological parallels between vampires and humans position her as a strategic asset for covert spaceflight trials, though her involvement was meant to stay buried.

Her striking appearance—dark indigo hair, pale complexion, crimson eyes, and pointed ears—mirrors a complex persona. She adopts a tsundere demeanor: aloof, sharp-tongued, and defiant toward authority, masking vulnerability and dread of abandonment. Gradually, bonds with Lev Leps, her empathetic human handler, and researcher Anya Simonyan soften her defenses, sparking romantic feelings for Lev as he steadfastly rejects treating her as a mere experiment.

Distinct quirks include a fondness for lemon soda, skill on ice skates, and a hereditary moonstone necklace. Sunlight induces heatstroke and warps her vision, necessitating shaded protection, while her sheltered upbringing leaves her technologically inept—an irony amid her aerospace role.

Her journey weaves through conquering acrophobia during grueling training, wrestling with the "category traitor" stigma for allying with humans, and confronting her mission’s moral ambiguities. A defining act of sacrifice sees her fabricate a post-mission employment lie to shield Lev’s career. Her arc culminates in a silent, fragile connection with him—a flicker of hope bridging species divided by oppression.
