Description
Himegami Shano debuted eight years before the main events as part of the popular unit Lynx Eyes alongside Amano Airi, Kase Mana, and Takao Toka. Though talent agencies courted the group, Shano and Toka only accepted offers after Airi and Mana urged them, leading to Lynx Eyes' disbandment and professional activities under that name. Years later, Shano reunited with Airi for a D4 FES joint performance. After overworking, she withdrew from performing and transitioned behind the scenes.

She became Photon Maiden's producer, deeply invested in their growth and affectionately calling them "my girls." Her influence shaped the unit profoundly: Niijima Ibuki and Hanamaki Towa both cited her as their audition inspiration. Shano relied heavily on Ibuki for leadership, while Towa revered her as a talented singer, beauty, and genius. Shano reciprocated Towa's admiration, seeing traces of Airi in her. Fukushima Noa also intensely admired Shano before departing.

Shano eventually resigned to reactivate her performing career with Call of Artemis (alongside Mana and Toka), causing distress within Photon Maiden. Noa reacted with anger and feelings of abandonment, accusing Shano of treating them like toys. Towa fiercely defended Shano's dedication, and Ibuki revealed Shano confided her departure aimed to challenge Photon Maiden as rivals to spur their growth. Even after stepping down, Shano instinctively considered creative details for the unit, like snowfall enhancing their music videos. Ibuki later adopted some of Shano's mannerisms as student council president.

Physically, Shano is tall with long dark brown hair fading to pink at the ends. Her multicolored eyes blend black upper sections with bright violet lower sections, featuring small aegyo sal details. She consistently wears lipstick and favors outfits with high heels and pants. Personality-wise, she projects a mature, strict, cool, and level-headed exterior, sometimes perceived as stoic and causing misunderstandings. Beneath this lies deep compassion and attentiveness, especially toward Call of Artemis and Photon Maiden. Mana notes underlying shyness around Call of Artemis members, competitive tendencies, and self-critical behavior, while Airi describes her as neurotic about high personal standards.

Beyond her units, Shano maintains a friendly bond with Airi, visiting her café after performances stirred nostalgia. Inuyose Shinobu of Peaky P-key declares Shano and Call of Artemis rivals. Hidaka Saori intensely admires Shano’s voice and desires a Lynx Eyes reunion. Shano also forged an unexpected bond with Kaibara Michiru during arcade research. Discovering mutual childhood fandom of "Magic DJ Groovy Mix," they connected over how it alleviated loneliness. Shano shared how the game distracted her from having no friends, prompting Michiru to propose lifelong friendship—a bond Shano warmly accepted, addressing Michiru as "dear friend."

Trivia notes include her late-twenties age, struggles with electronics (especially newer models), a "sleep-working" tendency, and a past belief in Santa Claus during high school. Her name combines "Hime" (princess) and "Gami" (mind/soul), with "Shano" meaning "belonging to gauze or gossamer."
