Description
The character known as Olho de Tigre in the Brazilian Portuguese version, and as Tiger's Eye in Japanese and English, is an antagonist from the Sailor Moon SuperS anime. He is one of the three members of the Amazon Trio, a group of servants of the Dead Moon Circus who operate under the command of Zirconia. The trio were originally animals in the circus, and they were granted human forms by the Amazoness Quartet so that they could carry out the mission of finding Pegasus, the winged horse who hid inside the Dream Mirror of a sleeping person. Tiger's Eye was originally a tiger, and his human appearance carries some of that influence.

In his human form, Tiger's Eye is a tall man with pale skin, pointed elflike ears, earrings, and warm orange-gold hair that reaches his shoulders, along with yellow eyes. His bearing is confident and theatrical, which suits his background as a performer in a circus, and he tends to present himself as elegant and self-assured.

His personality is marked by charm, vanity, and flirtatiousness. He prefers to target young women, especially those who see him in a flattering light, because he enjoys being admired and takes pride in his own appeal. His usual method is to flatter and win over a victim before stealing what he needs, rather than resorting to force right away. At the same time, he is competitive and somewhat petty with his fellow trio members, eager to succeed where they have failed, and he can be careless or overconfident in ways that lead to his plans falling apart.

His motivations are tied to his position in the Dead Moon Circus. He, like the rest of the Amazon Trio, is driven by the mission to find Pegasus and obtain the Golden Crystal, which would allow Queen Nehellenia to be revived. This mission carries both the promise of reward and the threat of punishment, and his drive also comes from personal pride and a desire to prove himself to his superiors, who transformed him from a simple animal into a human being.

In the story, he acts as a recurring villain throughout the season and is the second member of the Amazon Trio to be sent out on the search. In each of his appearances, he chooses a human target, draws out that person's Dream Mirror to search their dreams for Pegasus, and summons a Lemure to fight the Sailor Guardians when they interfere, which puts him in direct conflict with Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon.

His relationships with the other characters follow the structure of the circus's hierarchy. With Hawk's Eye and Fisheye, he shares a bond that is part rivalry and part companionship; the three tease and compete with each other, but they remain tied together as a unit. With Zirconia, he is deferential and eager to earn approval, aware that failure brings serious consequences. The Amazoness Quartet stand above him as the ones who gave him his human form and his purpose.

Over the course of the season, he and the other trio members begin to show feelings that go beyond their simple mission. When Hawk's Eye is destroyed, Tiger's Eye and Fisheye set aside their competition in order to avenge him. Understanding that only Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon are capable of defeating the Lemure that threatens them, they work together to bring the two heroes back to face the enemy, revealing that loyalty and grief have grown in beings who were meant to serve as mere tools. Their defiance ultimately leads to their own end at the hands of the circus they served, closing out the trio's arc.

In terms of abilities, Tiger's Eye can reach into a person's chest and pull out their Dream Mirror, which lets him see into that person's dreams in search of Pegasus. Like the other members of the Amazon Trio, he can teleport through a hoop of fire and can summon Lemures to attack on his behalf. His primary weapon in combat is a whip, which he uses to strike at the Sailor Guardians. He also retains the ability to shift between his human form and his original tiger form, reflecting the animal nature hidden beneath his polished appearance.
