Flat is a supporting character from the anime Onegai My Melody, recognized as a small blue mouse with large ears that have yellow inner linings, a tiny yellow oval nose, and a long, slender tail often adorned with a small orange or pink ribbon. He originates from the magical world of Mariland and is one of the oldest characters in the larger Sanrio universe, having first appeared in 1976. He is best known for being the closest and most loyal animal friend to the series' protagonist, My Melody.
