Description
Koshirou Chikuma is a ninja of the Iga Tsubagakure clan and one of the ten warriors chosen by the clan leader Ogen to represent Iga in the deadly conflict against the rival Kouga clan. He is the childhood friend of Oboro, the Iga heiress, and the devoted apprentice of the powerful ninja Tenzen Yakushiji.
From his youth, Koshirou was trained by Tenzen and quickly proved himself to be a highly intelligent and skilled fighter, earning a place among the Iga elite despite his low rank of genin. He grew up alongside Oboro, who sees him almost as an older brother, and he is deeply protective of her. However, his loyalty to Tenzen often places him in a difficult position, as he obeys his master’s commands even when they conflict with his personal feelings.
In the anime, Koshirou is initially portrayed as a cheerful and somewhat idealistic young man, but his personality undergoes a drastic transformation over the course of the story.
