Māya, a blue-skinned Wadoran princess ruling a species facing extinction, partners with the terrorist Star of Darkness to ensure her people's survival. She utilizes specialized technology, including a soul-capturing camera, to kidnap humans via quantum transfer on Earth, aided by her three Noh-masked alien maids—Raiden, Tsuchigumo, and Kanawa—and the creature Esrun. Her initial methods prioritize her species' survival over human lives, ordering captures that result in Izumi's accidental death during an interrupted transport and Kotaro Higashi's mutation which awakens his DNA as he investigates. A turning point occurs when her superior, Alien Pedan, demands she sacrifice her subordinates to eliminate the Ultramen. Māya refuses, prioritizing her maids' lives and breaking with Alien Pedan. This betrayal triggers Māya's depression, later alleviated through interactions with Shinjiro Hayata and Seiji Hokuto. Their influence prompts her to reassess her actions and align with their values, leading her to release all imprisoned humans as redemption. During the hostage release, Alien Llubihc critically injures her with a spear. Despite her injury, she succeeds in freeing the hostages. She collapses and is presumed dead by Hokuto, but later reveals her survival with a playful expression. Subsequently, Māya is seen socializing with Valcure, Zaravie Third Son, and Adad at a bar in a foreign town. She wears a distinctive crown, a design element inspired by previous Ultraman characters like Alien Magellan Maya and Alien Wild. Her arc transitions her from an antagonist driven by species survival to a figure who challenges allies, betrays her organization on ethical grounds, and ultimately chooses to protect both her people and humans.
