Description
Eirote Borchard serves as the second-in-command of the organization known as Scarlet and is a constant presence at the side of Princess Senes, acting as her personal secretary. Her primary duty in this role involves helping to manage the princess’s volatile temper, a task she handles with quiet dedication. Eirote first encountered Princess Senes in the palace gardens of Giat, where she was working as a maid at the time. In that moment, she witnessed the young princess covered in cuts and bruises, injuries inflicted by her own brother, and it was this sight that solidified her lifelong resolve to remain by Senes’s side.

Despite her position within Scarlet, Eirote is aware that she lacks the physical strength to protect Senes from direct harm. Rather than focus on this limitation, she has chosen to safeguard the princess in a different way, dedicating herself to protecting Senes’s heart. This motivation defines her character and her actions throughout the story, as she prioritizes the emotional well-being of the princess above all else. She is recognized by her appearance, which includes brown hair that reaches her chest, blue eyes, and she is often seen wearing glasses with her hair styled in a braid.

The relationship between Eirote and Princess Senes is the most significant in her life, and her loyalty to Senes is unwavering. The dynamic between them has a notable recurring characteristic; whenever Senes needs Eirote for something, she invariably screams Eirote’s name at the top of her voice, even when Eirote is standing directly behind her. This running joke highlights the unique and deeply familiar bond they share. Eirote’s personal journey is less about gaining new powers and more about adhering to her initial resolve. Her development is seen in her steadfast commitment to her self-appointed role as the guardian of Senes’s heart, proving that protection can take many forms beyond physical combat. Her notable ability, therefore, lies not in martial prowess but in her emotional strength and her capacity for unwavering, gentle support.
