Description
Law is a minor character appearing in both the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime and the later Brotherhood adaptation, though he is more commonly known as Roa in the original Japanese version and the English manga. The 2003 anime English dub refers to him as Law. He is a human chimera, having been alchemically fused with an ox, which grants him a large, bulky physique, horns protruding from his head, and white hair that reaches shoulder length. His eyes are gray, and he often wears a uniform-like outfit.

Law is one of the subordinates of the homunculus Greed, residing in the Devil's Nest hideout alongside other chimeras such as Dolcetto, Bido, and Martel. His primary motivation is loyalty to Greed, who treats his chimera followers with a degree of respect and camaraderie uncommon among the homunculi. Law, in turn, is fiercely devoted to Greed and willing to fight and die for his leader.

In the story, Law appears during the arcs involving Greed's gang. He participates in battles against the Elric brothers and other state alchemists, using his enhanced strength and ox-like durability in combat. However, he is not a major antagonist; his role is that of a supporting enforcer. During the conflict at Devil’s Nest, Law is ultimately killed by the homunculus Lust, who betrays and eliminates Greed's followers. His death serves to highlight the ruthlessness of the homunculi and the fragile nature of Greed's group.

Law does not undergo significant character development, as his screen time is limited. He remains a steadfast and somewhat simple-minded follower, defined by his physical power and loyalty. His notable abilities include superhuman strength and resilience, stemming from his chimera physiology, which allows him to withstand blunt force and deliver powerful attacks. He is not shown to wield alchemy.

Relationships are central to his character: he is a loyal member of Greed's inner circle, sharing a bond of mutual protection with his fellow chimeras. He has no direct connection to the main protagonists, serving instead as an obstacle that underscores the dangers of the underworld and the price of allegiance to a homunculus.
