Ni-kun is a blue-furred cat who appears as a main character in the third season of Kirarin Revolution, known as Stage 3. He is the pet of the idol Yukino Noel. His fur is blue with a single large blue spot on the right side of his head, and he always wears a necklace with a cross pendant around his neck. His eyes are black. Before becoming a pet, Ni-kun was the leader of a gang in his cat town, giving him a background of toughness and leadership. Despite his rough past, he becomes part of the cat idol world, joining Kirari Tsukishima’s cat Na-san and Kobeni Hanasaki’s cat Mi-chan to form their own idol unit, sometimes called Triangle or the Namini Trio. In this group, Ni-kun dances and performs on stage alongside the human idol group MilkyWay, which includes his owner Yukino Noel. His primary motivation within the story is his romantic interest in Mi-chan, though his feelings are largely unreciprocated. Personality-wise, Ni-kun balances his former gang-leader assertiveness with a softer, affectionate side, especially toward Mi-chan. Throughout the series, he develops from a streetwise cat into a supportive member of the cat idol trio, contributing to the lighthearted and comedic moments of the show. His notable ability is his participation in synchronized dance performances with the other cats, adding a playful element to the concerts.
