Description
Bianchi is an Italian freelance hitman known in the underworld by the nickname Poison Scorpion. She is the older paternal half-sister of Hayato Gokudera, sharing the same father but having different mothers, as Bianchi is the daughter of her father's legal wife. Her primary and most distinctive ability is Poison Cooking, a technique that turns any food she prepares into a deadly poison, a transformation that occurs regardless of her intent. Bianchi herself is completely immune to her own poison cooking and genuinely believes she is an excellent cook. This ability is so potent that everything she touches can potentially become poisonous, and her techniques include making her cooking explode with a snap of her fingers.

In terms of appearance, Bianchi is a tall, curvaceous young woman with long, straight light pink hair and green eyes, which she shares with her brother. She has multiple tattoos, including a scorpion with a heart-shaped stinger on her upper left arm and a heart on her right buttock. After moving to Japan, she begins wearing a pair of orange-tinted goggles. Her measurements are 86-57-87 centimeters. Her personality is a study in contrasts; she can be violent and possessive regarding her romantic interests but is otherwise a kind and caring individual. She is usually calm and composed, which stands in stark contrast to her brother's more volatile nature. She cares deeply for Gokudera, constantly attempting to help him and showing happiness when he demonstrates any affection for her in return. Despite her lethality, she has a silly side, primarily manifested through her disastrous cooking, which becomes a source of comedic conflict as she forces others to try her creations.

Bianchi is introduced with a clear motivation: to kill Tsunayoshi Sawada in order to free her lover, Reborn, from his duties as Tsuna's home tutor, hoping to take him back to Italy. However, as she becomes more integrated into Tsuna's circle, she abandons this mission, eventually moving into the Sawada household. She develops a friendly and supportive relationship with Tsuna and the others, forgetting or simply no longer caring about her original goal. Her love for Reborn is a defining trait; she is his fourth lover and constantly fawns over him, offering unsolicited romantic advice to Tsuna about Kyoko and acting possessively towards anyone she sees as a bad influence on Reborn. Reborn, however, does not seem to return her feelings with the same intensity. She also harbors an intense and violent hatred for the adult version of Lambo, as he bears a striking resemblance to her ex-boyfriend, Romeo. This relationship with Romeo ended badly, and it is implied that he died from eating her poison cooking. Every time she sees Adult Lambo, she flies into a berserk rage and tries to kill him.

In the story, Bianchi's role evolves from an antagonist to a powerful ally and mentor. During the Kokuyo Arc, she plays a significant role by accompanying Tsuna and the others to Kokuyo Land, where she engages in a designated fight against M.M., using her poison cooking to melt M.M.'s clarinet and incapacitate her. Later in the same arc, she is possessed by Mukuro Rokudo, who uses her body to fight Tsuna, knowing he would be hesitant to harm her. Her most prominent role comes during the Future Arc. Here, the future version of Bianchi acts as a crucial source of information about the Millefiore family and takes on the role of a strict but effective tutor. She trains her brother, Gokudera, helping him master his rings and boxes to complete the Sistema C.A.I., using tough love and taunts to push him to his limits. She also trains Chrome Dokuro in hand-to-hand combat. Beyond her combat and training roles, Bianchi serves as a maternal or older sister figure to the non-combatant girls, Haru Miura and Kyoko Sasagawa, protecting them and offering comfort and guidance.

Throughout the series, Bianchi undergoes noticeable development. She begins as a focused assassin but gradually becomes a trusted member of the Vongola family, showing genuine concern for Tsuna and his friends. Her care for her brother deepens, and in a poignant moment during the future, she retrieves love letters their father wrote to Gokudera's mother. She uses these letters to reveal the truth about their parents' relationship, hoping to heal the deep-seated emotional wounds and misunderstandings that have long troubled her half-brother. This act highlights her growth from a seemingly single-minded character to one capable of deep empathy and familial care.

Bianchi's notable abilities center on her Poison Cooking, which she can deploy in various forms, including a technique that allows her to poison objects on a timed delay. In the Future Arc, it is revealed that she possesses the Storm Flame attribute. Using a Storm Ring and her Box Weapon, Scorpione di Tempesta, she can summon storm scorpions that emanate Dying Will Flames, adding a powerful, direct combat ability to her already dangerous repertoire. Despite her competence as an assassin, she has a notable weakness: her aim with firearms is notoriously poor, which becomes a recurring joke. She also considers Yamamoto Takeshi her rival in cooking, though he is largely unaware of this, as he only knows how to make sushi.
