Emily, known as Hazuki Fujiwara in the original Japanese version, is a central character in the Ojamajo Doremi series. She is introduced as the oldest and best friend of the protagonist, Doremi Harukaze, and the two are classmates at Misora Elementary School. Emily comes from a wealthy and affluent family, which contributes to her well-mannered and refined demeanor. As a witch apprentice, Emily possesses notable magical abilities. Her theme color is yellow or orange, reflected in her apprentice outfit and magical accessories. To perform magic, she uses a specific spell: Paipai Ponpoi Puwapuwa Puu. She is later capable of performing a more advanced Magical Stage, using the incantation Paipai Ponpoi, flexible. Emily is also accompanied by a fairy partner named Mimi (or ReRe in the Japanese version), who assists her in her magical duties.
