Lillis Faw, sometimes written as Lilith Fau, is a supporting character in the anime Heavy Metal L-Gaim. She is the last known fairy remaining in the Pentagona World and is encountered by the protagonist Daba Myroad in the city of Prearmo on the planet Koam. Daba purchases her from a man who had possession of her, and Lillis subsequently joins Daba and his companions on their journey. Lillis is a small, diminutive being with very long orange hair and green eyes. Her physical stature prevents her from piloting a Heavy Metal, but she contributes to the group in other ways. She is a skilled cook and handles many household chores, often accompanying Daba in his Heavy Metal while he pilots, providing company and support. Despite her lack of combat ability, she is a loyal and dedicated colleague. Lillis is known for her cheerful and helpful nature, and she quickly becomes a valued member of the rebel team. Throughout the series, she demonstrates courage and selflessness. During the events at the asteroid base Palarta Star, she helps prevent a nuclear explosion and is seriously injured in the process, an incident that keeps her out of action for several episodes. Her key relationships include Daba, whom she follows faithfully, and she inadvertently becomes a point of contention when the antagonist Gavlet Gablae develops a grudge against Daba following a minor dispute over food and Lillis herself. Lillis's development is seen in her transition from a purchased companion to an integral part of the group, willing to risk her safety for the cause.
