Description
Miyu Greer is a character from the anime My-HiME. She initially appears as a quiet, friendly girl in Mai Tokiha's class and the adopted daughter of Joseph Greer, the resident priest of Fuuka Academy. She makes peculiar, precise observations about the temperature and amount of precipitation, a trait that hints at her true nature. Early on, she is notably protective of Alyssa Searrs, a younger girl who is also connected to the academy.
As the story progresses, Miyu is revealed to be an android, created by Joseph Greer of the SEARRS organization. Her name is an acronym for Multiple Intelligencial Yggdrasil Unit. She was built for the sole purpose of protecting Alyssa, who is a false HiME unable to materialize an element and thus relies entirely on Miyu for defense.
