Description
Chie Harada is a secondary character who appears as a student at Fuuka Academy. She is a classmate of the protagonist Mai Tokiha, sitting directly behind her, and is also in the same class as Yuuichi Tate. On Mai’s first day at school, Chie is among the first to offer her friendship, introducing herself in a playful manner by poking Mai’s sides.
Chie has a distinctly curious and sociable personality, with a strong inclination toward gathering information. Her most notable habit is the frequent use of her cell phone’s camera, which she employs to conduct interviews and search for new gossip around the school. This behavior develops into a running gag that defines much of her screen time, as she is consistently portrayed as the doyenne of school rumors.
