TV-Series
Description
Hinaichigo, whose name translates to "Little Strawberry," is the sixth doll of the Rozen Maiden series. She is characterized by her short, blonde ringlet curls, large green eyes, and an outfit that typically consists of a pink overcoat with a red ribbon over a white, puffy underdress, complemented by red ballet-like slippers. Her appearance is that of a young child, which directly reflects her position as one of the youngest sisters in the Rozen Maiden collection.

In terms of personality, Hinaichigo is the very embodiment of childishness. She is often portrayed as naive, spoiled, and demanding, frequently throwing tantrums when things do not go her way and treating her human companion as a servant. She has a habit of speaking in the third person and ending her sentences with the verbal tic "na no," comparable to the unique speech patterns of her other sisters. Despite her immature and selfish exterior, Hinaichigo possesses a deeply caring heart. The core of her motivation stems from a profound fear of being abandoned and left alone, a fear that originates from a past trauma where her previous owner, a girl named Corine Fausset, was forced to leave her behind.

This fear of solitude is a primary driver of her actions. Initially, Hinaichigo clings desperately to her masters to avoid being alone, which can manifest as irrational or possessive behavior. However, her underlying desire is for the well-being and unity of her entire doll family. She genuinely loves her sisters and wishes for them all to remain intact, often showing a deep and instinctive understanding of their feelings, particularly those of her sister Shinku.

Within the story, Hinaichigo serves as a catalyst for emotional growth in both the human characters and the other dolls. In one of the main storylines, she loses an Alice Game against her sister Shinku. Rather than being destroyed, she is forced to become Shinku's servant, eventually taking up residence in the home of the human Jun Sakurada. This dynamic allows her character to evolve from a purely demanding and fearful child into a more courageous and selfless individual. Over time, assisted by Jun and her sisters, she matures, learning to fight not for the sake of the Alice Game but to protect those she cares about.

Her key relationships are central to her development. Her bond with Shinku is particularly complex, beginning with rivalry and resentment but growing into a close and loyal friendship where Hinaichigo acts as a supportive younger sister. Her relationship with Jun Sakurada evolves from her demanding he be her servant to a genuine mutual care, where he provides a stable home and she offers him emotional comfort. She also shares a close bond with her former medium Tomoe, from whom she selflessly cuts ties to save Tomoe's life, and a playful, often trickster-like dynamic with her sister Suiseiseki.

Regarding her role in the Alice Game, Hinaichigo is unique for her abilities and her ultimate fate. Unlike most of her sisters who possess distinct weapons, Hinaichigo's primary power is the manipulation of rose-colored strawberry vines. She can cause these vines to grow rapidly from surfaces to ensnare, restrain, or constrict her opponents. Her powers are considered defensive in nature, and she lacks an offensive weapon. Her artificial spirit is named Berrybell. In various story continuations, Hinaichigo meets significant fates, including willingly surrendering her Rosa Mystica to save her medium or being destroyed by the malevolent seventh doll, Kirakishou, demonstrating her courage even in the face of a much more powerful enemy.
