Description
Ganossa Maximillian stands as the primary antagonist of the story, a powerful mage whose actions are directly responsible for the catastrophic invasion of Earth by the extra-dimensional beings known as the Lucifer Hawks. He was once a student or assistant to the mage Gigelf Liqueur. Driven by envy, Ganossa sabotaged Gigelf's Project Gaia, a plan intended to create world peace by linking Earth with the world of Nemesis. This act of sabotage perverted the gateway, allowing the Lucifer Hawks to pour into the human dimension.

In his quest for power, Ganossa made a deal with the ruler of Nemesis, selling his soul and half his body in exchange for formidable magical abilities that potentially make him a peer to the series' heroine, Katsumi Liqueur. The same curse that granted him power also causes him to age backwards, so despite being fifty to sixty years old during the events of the series, he maintains a youthful appearance, with pale bluish-lavender hair. His role in the story is as the chief envoy and leader of the Lucifer Hawks on Earth, directing their attacks on innocent people. His machinations are deeply personal, as he specifically targets Katsumi, the daughter of his former master. He murders her boyfriend Roy in a calculated move to corrupt her, and later succeeds in placing her under the control of the evil Demon Sword Medium, turning her against her allies in the Attacked Mystification Police Force. Beyond simple conquest, his ultimate motivation is all-consuming destruction. When it becomes clear that the world of Nemesis will not grant him his desires, he attempts to forcibly assimilate the Lucifer Hawks into his own body and slam the dimensions of Earth and Nemesis together, an act that would annihilate the entire galaxy.
