Description
Captain Shinobu Nagumo is the commander of Section 2 Division 1 of the Metropolitan Police. She is a career police officer of high standing, recognized for her competence and serious dedication to duty. Nagumo is a calm, collected, and assertive woman whose leadership style is based on logic and strict adherence to police protocol, which results in her unit operating with high efficiency and little of the collateral damage often associated with the Labor corps. Despite her by-the-book mentality, she strongly opposes unreasonable orders from her superiors and is not afraid to hold her ground or disobey commands when she perceives an injustice.
In contrast to her colleague Captain Kiichi Goto, whose methods are unorthodox and seemingly lackadaisical, Nagumo embodies the professional ideal of a police officer.
