Description
Carlos, known in the original Japanese version as Isamu Jou, is a prominent character who attends the Y-Academy boarding school as a second-year student with a specialization in botany. He is the owner of the Jungle Watch, a device that allows him to transform into different Yo-kai Heroes, including the Jungle Warrior by combining powers with the Yo-kai Tracker, and the Assault Warrior alongside the Assault Tracker.
In terms of personality, Carlos initially exhibits a cold and solitary demeanor, operating very much as a lone wolf. His behavior softens and he becomes more cautious over time after receiving help from the YSP Squad. A significant part of his background involves a traumatic event during his younger days when he was a member of the Mystic Team, a group of explorers and detectives. While exploring a mystical temple, the team was attacked by a dragon, and Carlos sustained a scar from the encounter after saving his companions. This incident led him to quit the team. He later met Tracker, a Yo-kai who had lost his memories of the past.
