Description
Ken-ichi Shikishima is a young boy who arrives in the sprawling, futuristic city of Metropolis from Japan alongside his uncle, the private investigator Shunsaku Ban. He acts as his uncle's assistant in their detective work, having traveled to the city to help hunt down a wanted criminal. As an outsider with no prior connections to Metropolis, Ken-ichi is new to the city's rigid social hierarchies and serves as the audience's point of view.
