Description
Shamshir Zamouk hailed from Amuss, south of Azuelgatt's capital, Isfaphan. Her father, Shaldile Zamouk, served as the kingdom's commander-in-chief, and her mother, Khukuri, was a world-renowned dancer. This dual heritage enabled Shamshir to master both swordsmanship and dance from childhood, forging exceptional skill in each. She fused these disciplines into a unique "battle dance," rendering her nearly invincible in close combat. Her proficiency as an archer further established her reputation as a versatile warrior across Galukia.

Following her father's retirement, Shamshir succeeded him as head of Azuelgatt's military, primarily a police force during peacetime. While performing her duties, she apprehended a criminal who hinted at a legendary sword. Intrigued, she journeyed to retrieve the weapon, Colada D'el Cid. Wielding this scimitar amplified her combat abilities significantly. Aware of its seductive power and the risk to weaker wills, she bound the sword to herself with her blood, refusing to let others touch it.

When the neighboring Holy Kingdom of Noigllado declared war on Azuelgatt, Shamshir commanded only 4,000 soldiers against a much larger invasion force. Employing her battle dance and archery to devastating effect, she personally defeated half of Noigllado's army at Doroah. Her actions enabled Azuelgatt to conquer two-thirds of Galukia, earning her acclaim as a national hero.

After the war, Colada D'el Cid revealed its true nature as a vessel for the corrupting force Ristaccia. Shamshir fell under its control, her eyes turning red as she was compelled to commit atrocities against her own people. Using her battle dance, she murdered multiple citizens, leading to Azuelgatt's collapse and transforming survivors into refugees. As Ristaccia's puppet, she hunted transcendental beings across Galukia, successfully killing Lien Clewing two years later.

Shamshir remained under Ristaccia's control for centuries until A'milia, awakening from a long sleep, liberated her. Freed from the curse, Shamshir joined A'milia's group to oppose L'erisia, the consciousness behind Ristaccia. This redemption allowed her to confront the entity that manipulated her destruction of Azuelgatt.

Physically, Shamshir consistently appeared as a strikingly beautiful woman with thick, straight black hair reaching mid-back and dark purple eyes that turned red during Ristaccia's control. Her dancer-inspired battle outfit featured dark green and purple elements: a gutra headdress with a purple jewel and feather, a golden necklace or choker, fingerless gloves, large bracelets, a dark green bra, a matching slit skirt with a diamond-adorned chain, and fuchsia dance shoes. She maintained this distinctive attire despite her military rank.

Additional details note her ability to play the oud and her association with the columbine flower, symbolizing fortitude and strength. She also appeared as a crossover character in the Pop'n Music series, marking the first Zektbach representation in that franchise.
