Shaldile Zamouk, scion of the military Zamouk lineage instrumental in founding the Kingdom of Azuelgatt, commands its army as commander-in-chief. He is married to Kukuri Zamouk, a historically significant dancer, and they have one daughter, Shamshir Zamouk. As commander, Shaldile employs the controversial strategy of deploying Shamshir directly against enemy commanders during wartime, defying criticism from Queen Ardyla's advisors who warn it leaves the monarch vulnerable. He consistently prioritizes his daughter's safety and adheres to a soldier's code, accepting full responsibility for his subordinates' welfare. His leadership contributes to Azuelgatt's victory after the Holy Kingdom of Noigllado declares war, securing territorial expansion across two-thirds of the Galukia continent. However, following the war, his daughter Shamshir is arrested, sentenced to execution for murdering civilians during a Ristaccia-induced rampage, resulting in Shaldile's imprisonment alongside his wife Kukuri.
