Description
Himiko Kudou, often known by her alias Lady Poison, is a 16-year-old operative working for the Transporter Service, a group that guarantees delivery of any client's package by any means necessary. She has green hair, violet eyes, and a petite frame. Her past is deeply intertwined with Ban Mido, with whom she once worked as a thief alongside her older brother, Yamato. This partnership ended in tragedy when Himiko witnessed Ban standing over her brother's body, his hand covered in blood. Believing Ban to be Yamato's killer, she swore revenge and, for a time, pursued a career as a transporter specifically to find and confront him.

As a result of this trauma, Himiko initially presents a cold, fiercely independent, and guarded exterior. She is hesitant to form close bonds with others, fearing betrayal and loss. However, this hard shell masks a more complex and volatile personality. She is feisty, stubborn, and hates being treated like a child or being reminded of her age. She frequently clashes with the character Hevn, their arguments often stemming from mutual irritation and insecurities about their differing bust sizes and levels of intelligence. Despite her vow of vengeance, Himiko finds herself frequently fighting alongside Ban as an ally. Her feelings toward him are deeply conflicted; she cannot reconcile her brother's death with the good person she sees in Ban, while Ban himself treats her with a teasing, brotherly affection.

Himiko's central role in the story is as a recurring ally and occasional antagonist to the main characters, driven by her quest for the truth about her brother's death. Her motivations evolve from pure revenge to a complicated desire for understanding and reconciliation. Her most significant relationship is with Ban Mido, a bond fraught with tension, unresolved grief, and a lingering, denied affection. She is also a member of the Transporters, working alongside formidable figures like Dr. Jackal Akabane.

Throughout the series, Himiko undergoes significant development. She begins as a vengeful lone wolf but gradually begins to trust and cooperate with others. A major turning point involves her identity as a Voodoo Child, a mysterious curse that is set to fully manifest on her seventeenth birthday. This curse, which involves merging with a mirror self who feels the exact opposite of her, forces her to confront her past and her destiny. Ultimately, her two selves are combined into one being, granting her new powers and a deeper understanding of her connection to Ban's family history. She is later revived from a presumed death and continues her work as a transporter.

Himiko's primary abilities are rooted in her training as a witch of poisons. She developed roughly 200 poison concoctions with her brother but typically carries only seven on a mission. These are housed in perfume bottles and function as catalysts for magical effects. Her arsenal includes Flame Perfume for internal combustion, Devolution Perfume that regresses victims to a primal state, Time Perfume for paralysis, and Oblivion Perfume to erase memories. She also uses Tracking Perfume to leave a trail, Corrosion Perfume as an acid, Sleep Perfume to instantly knock out a target, and Puppet Perfume, which allows her to control a victim's movements. Her most dangerous tool is the Acceleration Perfume, which grants inhuman speed at a severe, life-threatening cost to her own body. While her basic fighting skills are average, her perfumes allow her to battle significantly stronger enemies, and her nature as a Voodoo Child grants her immense, untapped potential.
