Description
Commander James Hawkins is the commanding officer of the Galaxy Alliance stellar ship S.S. Explorer and the leader of the Vehicle Voltron Force. His primary mission is to explore uncharted regions of space to locate habitable planets suitable for the Alliance's overpopulated worlds, a task he undertakes alongside his close friend and colleague, Captain Newley. Hawkins holds the rank of Commander within the Galaxy Alliance, giving him authority over the crew of the Explorer and the Vehicle Voltron pilots under his command.
Hawkins is a respected commander who takes his responsibilities seriously, but he displays a notable anti-heroic side to his personality.
