Description
Prince Bandor, also written as Prinz Bandor, is a supporting character in the original Voltron: Defender of the Universe animated series. He is the prince and co-ruler of the planet Pollux, a world closely connected to the planet Arus and its royal family. Bandor is the youngest son of King Coba and the younger brother of Princess Romelle and Prince Avok. Following the death of Avok, Bandor became heir apparent and took on the responsibilities of rulership alongside his older sister Romelle.
In terms of background, Pollux is a sister planet to Arus, and Bandor is therefore a cousin of Princess Allura. His royal family shares in the larger conflict against the forces of Planet Doom, and as a member of Pollux's ruling house, Bandor carries the duties of leadership from a young age.
