Description
Rai "Curly" Aishuwarya, also known by the name Aishwarya Rai, is a supporting character in the anime Digimon Tamers. She is an Indian scientist and a member of the Monster Makers, the group of researchers who designed and created the artificial life forms in the 1980s that would eventually evolve into Digimon.
Aishuwarya comes from India and speaks with an accent. Before the events of the story, she worked as a professor at Miskatonic University, where her area of focus was quantum theory. As part of the Monster Makers, she was involved in the research project that produced the artificial life forms later known as Digimon. The project was eventually cancelled in 1986 after funding was withdrawn, and the group went their separate ways.
Roughly twenty years later, Aishuwarya and the other Monster Makers, apart from Shibumi, were brought back together by Yamaki, who wanted to learn more about Digimon so that he could destroy them. Aishuwarya contributed her scientific expertise to this effort through the Hypnos system. When the Juggernaut system failed to destroy Vikaralamon, Yamaki was removed from his position, and Aishuwarya and her colleagues turned their knowledge toward helping the tamers instead.
