TV-Series
Description
Tsuzuru Minagi is the third eldest in a family of ten brothers, an upbringing that demanded significant caregiving for his seven younger siblings from an early age. This fostered a patient yet overprotective nature and honed his aptitude for handling children and younger individuals, a trait extending to his interactions within the Mankai Company. Seeking to ease his family's financial burden while pursuing screenwriting ambitions, he joined the theater group. Mankai provided both residency and the crucial platform to write scripts, solving his prior difficulties securing such opportunities on Veludo Way.

Physically, Tsuzuru stands 180 cm (5'11") with light brown hair and green eyes. His pragmatic financial sense results in a simple, consistent wardrobe: blue jeans, a black-and-turquoise hoodie, a green jacket, and white striped sneakers. A dandelion symbolizes his resilience and adaptability.

Academically, Tsuzuru is a second-year student at Yosei University alongside troupe member Omi Fushimi. He frequently uses the university library between lectures, valuing its resources for script research and tranquil atmosphere. His university social connections facilitated introductions for Kazunari Miyoshi and Omi to Mankai. Beyond studies, he maintains an extensive history of diverse part-time jobs—including convenience stores, delivery services, campsite assistance, and moving—to support his family financially. This versatility makes him the troupe's de facto handyman, often helping with cooking or logistical tasks.

As the Spring Troupe’s primary playwright, Tsuzuru exhibits intense dedication, frequently working overnight to refine scripts despite academic and job demands. His creative process sometimes involves overcoming challenges like writer's block, exemplified when developing a fairy-themed story for a children’s museum; inspiration emerged through collaborative gameplay with fellow members, demonstrating his adaptability. Notable acting roles include Mercutio in *Romeo and Julius*, the White Rabbit in *Alex in Wonderland*, Luke in *A Clockwork Heart*, the Wizard of the East in *The Wonderful Charlatan of Oz*, and Merlin in *Knights of the Round IV*.

Interpersonally, Tsuzuru assumes an "older brother" role within Mankai. He shares Room 102 with Masumi Usui; their initial script conflicts evolved into a dynamic where Tsuzuru views Masumi as a "troublesome younger brother." He admires Sakuya Sakuma’s dependability but worries about his naivety, exhibits exasperation toward Itaru Chigasaki’s laziness, and engages in comedic banter with Citron reminiscent of manzai routines. He respects Chikage Utsuki’s talents but finds his deceitfulness perplexing. Externally, his childhood friend Kaya Mizuno reappeared during *A Clockwork Heart*, leading to reconciliation after estrangement caused by Mizuno’s mother forcing a school transfer; Mizuno later provided financial support to Mankai.

Tsuzuru’s development emphasizes his growing sense of belonging. Early scripts written for his brothers’ birthdays ignited his passion, and Mankai became "a place that lets him try new things" while fulfilling his dreams. He came to see the company as a second family, humorously noting his "little brothers increased" after joining. Family interactions include receiving Valentine’s chocolate from his sister-in-law—initially mistaken for a romantic admirer—and reconciling with his oldest brother Tadoru, who expressed guilt over leaving home responsibilities to him.

Trivia notes include all his brothers sharing names ending in "-ru" and his theme songs *Dandelion no Akubi* (2017) and *The Storyteller* (2021).
