Description
Ken Sakoda is a yakuza underling fiercely loyal to Sakyo Furuichi, whom he calls "Boss" or "Aniki." He exhibits dog-like devotion, shadowing Sakyo and assisting at Mankai Theater. Sakoda sports blond hair with a dark undercut, chestnut-brown eyes, and a small x-shaped scar near his right eye. His signature attire is a purple leopard-print jacket over a red t-shirt, black baggy pants, and multiple gold chains.

Found injured on the street by Sakyo, the former stray was brought into the Ginsekai yakuza group, gaining stability. Within Ginsekai, he formed a brotherly bond with Azami Izumida, the boss's son. Sakoda later facilitated Azami's move to Mankai Dormitory when Azami sought independence and staunchly defended his choice to become a makeup artist, confronting the yakuza boss directly. This act led the boss to consider Sakoda as a potential successor.

Energetic and eager, Sakoda's enthusiasm sometimes annoys Sakyo. His devotion manifests in extreme support, like creating congratulatory banners. Though clumsy (leading Sakyo to intervene in tasks like driving or carrying items), Sakyo trusts him with shopping and patrolling, gradually delegating more responsibilities. Sakoda assists Mankai Theater with manual labor, operating heavy machinery (using his licenses), and sorting props, though meticulous work challenges him. He frequently craves fried shrimp.

His strong bond with Azami endures; Azami views him as an older brother, prioritizing his opinions. Sakoda complies with Azami's requests, occasionally causing friction with Sakyo. A pivotal backstory reveals Sakyo recruited Sakoda into Club Mankai after finding him battered in the rain. Sakyo provided a suit and tasked him with becoming the top host, mentoring him by analyzing other hosts' techniques – cementing Sakoda's lifelong loyalty.

Trivia includes his skill at pachinko, calligraphy training in his youth resulting in neat handwriting, and the etymology of his surname ("Sakoda" meaning "urge/force rice field"). He interacts with Mankai's director, Izumi Tachibana, offering excavation services and addressing her as "Boss Lady."
