Description
Nene Mori is a character from the anime Princess Nine. She serves as the team manager and a part-time cheerleader for the Kisaragi Girls' Baseball Team at Kisaragi Girls' High School. Nene comes from a super wealthy family, yet she does not display any arrogance or sense of entitlement because of her background. She is known for her constant high energy and a perpetually upbeat, cheerful demeanor. Her knowledge of baseball is very limited; everything she knows about the sport comes from reading sports manga rather than from firsthand experience or formal training. This sometimes leads to humorous misunderstandings, but her enthusiasm for the team remains unwavering.

Nene is often described as a perpetual ditz because she is easily distracted by a wide variety of hobbies and interests. Her list of hobbies is extensive and includes reading comics, baking, growing herbs, flower arrangement, Japanese dance, playing the violin, sewing, ballet, collecting stuffed animals, astrology, and laundry. This curiosity and eagerness to try new things is a key part of her personality, but it also means she tends to flit from one activity to another without mastering any single one. Despite this scattered approach, she approaches each new interest with genuine excitement and energy.

Her primary motivation is her deep care and loyalty toward her friends and teammates. She loves being the team manager and takes the role very seriously, even though she does not fully understand the technical aspects of baseball. She is always there to support her friends, particularly Yuki Azuma and Kanako Mita, and she demonstrates a true and consistent friendship to all the members of the Kisaragi Girls' Baseball Team. In addition to her official duties as manager, she occasionally steps in as a replacement coach when Coach Shinsaku Kido is absent or late, often due to his hangovers. In these moments, she does her best to lead and encourage the players despite her lack of baseball expertise.

Nene is also a talented cook, and she loves to prepare food for the team. Her wealth and refined upbringing mean she has skills in traditionally elegant pursuits such as flower arrangement, Japanese dance, and ballet, but she approaches even simple tasks with the same level of enthusiasm and joy. These qualities make her a dependable and beloved presence on the team. While she is not a player herself, her role is vital for team morale and organization. Her character represents the non-athletic but deeply supportive friend who contributes to the team's unity and emotional well-being. Over the course of the series, her steadfast loyalty and energetic nature help strengthen the bonds between the team members, even though she does not undergo a dramatic personal transformation. Her notable abilities lie not in athletic performance but in her organizational skills as a manager, her cheerleading, her culinary talents, and her extensive repertoire of hobbies, all of which she uses to brighten the lives of those around her.
