Light Nostrade, also rendered as Raito Nostrado, is a character in the anime and manga series Hunter x Hunter who appears during the Yorknew City arc. He is the head of the Nostrade Family, a mafia organization that operates under the authority of the larger Ritz Family, and he serves as the employer of Kurapika during that part of the story.
His background is defined by a remarkable rise in the criminal underworld. Originally the leader of a minor provincial mafia family with very little influence, Light managed to greatly increase his family's standing by relying on the unique Nen ability of his daughter, Neon Nostrade.
