Minako Aino, better known as Sailor Venus, is a central character in the Sailor Moon series and the protagonist of its prequel manga, Codename: Sailor V. As the civilian identity of Sailor Venus, she is the first Sailor Guardian to awaken her powers, even before the series' main protagonist, Usagi Tsukino.
