Mr. Satan, also known as Hercule in some English versions and as Master Pogi in the Philippines, is a character from the Dragon Ball Z anime and manga. His real name is Mark, and he was born in the year Age 736. As a young man, he trained at a martial arts dojo called Satan Castle. Through a combination of genuine skill and good fortune, he eventually won the World Martial Arts Tournament and adopted the ring name Mr. Satan after his dojo. He became the reigning world champion for many years after the stronger Z Fighters stopped participating in the tournaments.
Mr. Satan is a flamboyant and charismatic figure who thrives on public adoration. He is boastful, egotistical, and highly concerned with his reputation as the world's strongest man.
