TV-Series
Description
Miyuki Kashima is a classmate of the protagonist Masato Wakamatsu and one of the two central female characters in the series. She was born on February 9, 1966, and is the daughter of Yasujiro, a man known by the nickname "the Two Blades." Miyuki is depicted as a beautiful, cheerful, and gentle high school girl who is highly popular among the boys at school. Her personality is a blend of playfulness and seriousness; she enjoys teasing her friends and has a mischievous side, yet she is also independent, intelligent, and deeply caring. She serves as vice president of the student council, studies diligently, and takes an interest in current events, reflecting her mature and analytical nature. She possesses a strong sense of empathy, allowing her to understand the feelings of those around her, particularly Masato.

Miyuki is the object of Masato’s affection, and she reciprocates his feelings, though she hesitates to confess out of fear of rejection or complicating their friendship. Her role in the story is to be the idealized romantic interest, contrasting with Masato’s stepsister (also named Miyuki) and driving the love triangle that shapes the narrative. Key relationships include her mutual attraction to Masato, her connection with her father Yasujiro, and her interactions with classmates. Over the course of the series, Miyuki remains a steady, supportive presence. After the resolution of the love triangle in which Masato chooses his stepsister, Miyuki travels to Hokkaido on a trip recommended by her father, where she encounters Sawada Yuichi, hinting at the possibility of a new relationship. Miyuki’s notable abilities lie in her emotional intelligence, academic diligence, and her ability to maintain a composed, gracious demeanor even in complex romantic situations, embodying a traditional ideal of feminine grace.
