Description
Maho Misawa, a sixth-grade student in Class 6-C at Keishin Academy and the animal care monitor, comes from an affluent background. Her father, Fuga Misawa, is a successful designer running a large company, and the family resides in a mansion with their maid, Hijiri Kuina.

Energetic and impulsive, Maho acts as the "atmosphere maker" for the girls' basketball team. Her outgoing, self-centered tendencies often lead to ideas that embarrass others, yet she deeply cares for her friends and defends them fiercely. A natural genius who learns quickly, her tendency to lose interest rapidly was a point of contention with childhood friend Natsuhi Takenaka until she discovered basketball, her first true devotion.

Her basketball journey started after witnessing Tomoka Minato's skills in PE class, prompting her to form the girls' basketball club and recruit Tomoka, Saki Nagatsuka, Hinata Hakamada, and Airi Kashii. As the team's power forward (jersey number 5), she excels in speed and leaping ability, making her effective at jump shots and pass interceptions. Her agility is integral to the team's One-Center Four-Shooter Offense, capitalizing on open shots. She demonstrated strong defense by shutting down Rena Ashihara in a national tournament match against Suzuridani before sustaining an ankle injury. Despite her offensive focus, she occasionally struggles to maintain concentration during games.

Maho maintains a complex relationship with Natsuhi Takenaka, stemming from their shared history and his frustration with her past lack of commitment, a rift healed by her proven dedication. She fears the dark and habitually adds an "n" sound to the end of people's names (e.g., "Subarun").

Physically, she stands 145 cm tall with blonde hair in twin tails and blue or teal eyes. She has a small fang and a less developed figure compared to some teammates, a sensitive topic. Beyond basketball, she plays tennis and enjoys video games, often measuring her progress in "levels." Her nickname "Fireworks" reflects her hyperactive personality. Her name combines "ma" (真, "real") and "ho" (帆, "sail"), symbolizing "full sail," while her surname "Misawa" means "three marshes."
