TV-Series
Description
Hinagiku Tamano, who transforms into the warrior known as Angel Daisy, is one of the central protagonists of her series. She is a student at Sei Hanazono Junior High School and a close friend of her classmate, Momoko.

Coming from a family that owns a flower shop called Flower Tamano, Hinagiku lives with her parents, Yasuhiro and Akemi, and her younger brother, Akira. Her family background is lively, matching her own energetic personality. In terms of physical attributes, she has short green hair and brown eyes. Her birthday is May 5th, and she stands 157 centimeters tall.

Hinagiku is best described as a tomboy. She has a brash and straightforward way of speaking, often saying exactly what is on her mind without much filter. She is highly athletic and has a strong interest in martial arts, practicing judo and karate, which makes her physically formidable and capable of holding her own against boys her age. She tends to prefer solving problems with her fists rather than words. However, beneath this tough exterior lies a sensitive and caring person. She deeply values her friendships and has a hidden fondness for cute things, though she usually tries to hide this softer side. Among her group of friends, she is noted to be the most knowledgeable about mature subjects.

Her role in the story is that of a reincarnated angel. In a past life, she was the pure angel known as Dekichigi, who fought in a great war between the angels and devils. After being defeated by the Fuma clan, her soul fell to the human world and was reborn as Hinagiku, causing her to lose all memories of her angelic past. She discovers her true heritage and awakens as Angel Daisy after a devil attack, during which she is saved and given the Saint Pendule, a golden watch-like device that allows her to transform. As Angel Daisy, her primary mission is to protect love on Earth and fight against devils. She is the guardian of the Saint Something Borrow, a heart-shaped locket that represents the bonds of friendship.

Her key relationships are central to her development. She has a particularly important dynamic with Takuro Amano, her childhood friend. They knew each other from a young age but grew apart after entering kindergarten due to an emerging awareness of the opposite sex. Although Hinagiku harbors romantic feelings for him, she is stubborn and denies it when questioned, insisting they are simply old friends. This changes when Takuro accidentally discovers her secret identity as a Love Angel, which forces her to confront her true feelings. In the OVA, their relationship progresses significantly, and in the manga, they ultimately marry. She is also a loyal and protective friend to Momoko and their mutual friend, Yuri, with whom she works alongside as a fellow Love Angel. She is a member of the school's newspaper club, acting as a reporter.

Throughout the series, Hinagiku shows considerable development. Initially presented as a girl who is uncomfortable with vulnerability and romance, she grows to accept her feelings for Takuro. Her character arc involves reconciling her tough, independent nature with her capacity for love and tenderness. After the final battle against Queen Nidhivel, she and Momoko request that the Angel Queen, Aphrodite, erase their memories of being Love Angels so they can live as normal humans.

As a fighter, Hinagiku possesses several notable abilities. She uses the Saint Pendule to transform. Her initial transformation call is Wedding Attractive Flower, which gives her a yellow wedding dress. For battle, she performs a second transformation, Wedding Change Oironaoshi, Angel Courage Daisy, which changes her outfit into a yellow armored leotard and hat, making her a Fighter Angel. Her primary offensive techniques include the Saint Pendule Daisy Blizzard, a blast of love energy waves from her watch. Later in the series, she gains the more powerful Saint Tornade Dreaming, which she performs using a daisy-shaped wand called the Saint Tornade, summoned by combining the power of her watch and the Saint Something Borrow necklace. In the OVA, her appearance is revised, and her weapon is replaced with a pair of curved boomerangs or blades for her Sacred Spiral Whip attack, and she gains the ability to fly. Her battle cry reflects her personality: Daisy is a symbol of an innocent and lively heart, and she will blow away all evil winds.
