Description
Mink is the daughter of Rouce the Red Lightning, a former skilled swordsman, and Mana, an imperial red dragon. She is a fifteen-year-old girl who is half human and half imperial red dragon. Physically, she has tall bushy hair, two horns, a tail, and a pair of wings that appear when needed. She typically wears minimal clothing. Her dragon heritage grants her the ability to fly, breathe fire, and possess superhuman strength, as well as high resistance to most forms of damage and poisons. She also undergoes ecdysis, a process of shedding her skin that makes her more powerful.
In personality, Mink behaves much like a stereotypical teenage girl. She is easily excitable, short-tempered, and readily forgiving. She is infatuated with Dick Saucer, a handsome dragonslayer who is also a pop singer. Because Dick is a dragonslayer, Mink believes her half-dragon nature prevents him from ever loving her. This motivates her central quest: to find the legendary People Potion, a magical item that can transform her into a fully human girl. In order to obtain the potion, she must first defeat Azetodeth, the most powerful demon lord in the land, which requires her to reconstruct the Gourd of the Saints, a sealing artifact.
Throughout her journey, Mink is accompanied by her friends Lufa, an elf with healing abilities but weak offensive magic, and Pia, a dwarf girl with overprotective parents. They are also joined by Mappy, a fairy mouse. Her primary rival for Dick Saucer's affections is Princess Vina, who actively tries to sabotage her. Additionally, she makes enemies of King Siva and various other adversaries who she unintentionally antagonizes, as she appears to attract misfortune and trouble wherever she goes.
Despite the comedic and chaotic nature of her adventures, Mink undergoes meaningful development. After many trials, including a conflict with a vampire and uncovering Dick Saucer's past, she finally confronts and seals away Azetodeth using the Gourd of Saints. She obtains the People Potion but ultimately chooses to remain half-human, half-dragon, accepting her heritage. Instead of using it herself, she gives the potion to Lufa, who had been transformed into a toad by the demon lord's magic. In a sequel one-shot, Mink later has a daughter named Pink.
