Description
Minamo Narukaze, a central figure born and raised in Kazune City, shares deep childhood ties with Makoto Okano and his sister Hinata Okano. After Makoto’s father died, both families relocated together. Before Makoto’s second departure from Kazune, he gifted Minamo a harmonica. They sealed a promise with a pinky swear to reunite and marry. Minamo clung seriously to this vow, unlike Makoto, practicing the harmonica daily for four years in hopes its sound would guide him back to fulfill it.

She is the biological daughter of Professor Akihito Narukaze, who researches Kazune’s mysteries, and the full sister of Hinata Okano and Wakaba Fujimiya. Separated during childhood, Wakaba joined the Fujimiya family, Hinata moved with Makoto, and Minamo stayed with her father, forging a complex sibling dynamic.

Physically, Minamo has long, straight violet hair typically in twin tails with an ahoge, green eyes, and a slim, pale teenage build at 158 cm and 46 kg. She wears school uniforms, maid dresses, yukatas, ribbons, and a one-piece swimsuit.

Her personality blends kindness, honesty, emotional openness, friendliness, and seriousness with clumsiness. Though she openly acknowledges loving Makoto, she struggles to confess directly, often relying on subtle hints he misses. When he grows close to other girls, she suppresses jealousy behind calm composure. Underneath lies tenacity—after he called her cooking inedible, she diligently learned culinary skills from Hinata.

Minamo wields supernatural wind generation and control, an ability linking her to Kazune’s mysteries and the murders and disappearances her father investigates.

When Makoto and Hinata return to Kazune after four years, Minamo reunites with them as high school classmates. Believing their reunion fulfills their childhood promise and will lead to marriage, she pursues Makoto’s affection assertively. Her journey navigates their relationship’s complexities, unresolved feelings, and the harmonica’s symbolic weight, underscored by persistent efforts like mastering cooking to bridge their emotional distance.
