TV-Series
Description
Indicus, formerly known as Kuina within the Debauchery Tea Party, is an Elf Sorcerer-Elder Maid. She served as one of the group's three advisors, specializing in public relations, maintaining their high server ranking, and managing rumors. Her profound admiration for the leader, Kanami, bordered on obsession, viewing her as essential to reaching the top raider position. Kanami's retirement from Elder Tale due to real-life commitments triggered a severe mental breakdown in Indicus, warping that fixation into intense hatred. Pleading with other members, including those she disliked, to stop Kanami failed. Their refusal solidified her view of Kanami's departure as a cowardly betrayal. The subsequent disbandment of the Tea Party fueled her resentment towards former members, particularly Kanami and, to a lesser extent, Naotsugu.

Her appearance features short purple hair, glasses, and distinct maid attire encompassing both a formal outfit and a battle variant. She wields numerous silver knives as weapons, depicted as throwing daggers despite Sorcerers typically lacking ranged weapon capability. A Genius named Jazar resides in her right eye, a detail corrected from early anime adaptations that placed it in her left.

Personality-wise, Indicus exhibits extreme psychological fragility tied to online validation. She frequently engaged with anonymous forums to revel in others' envy of the Tea Party's achievements. Volatile anger over minor slights, especially concerning the Tea Party's dissolution, marks her demeanor. While disdainful of most members, her behavior during the Tea Party era was notably less hostile than her current state. Post-Catastrophe, she rationalizes her actions as consistent with her past motivations for dominance.

In the current world of Theldesia, Indicus holds the second seat on Plant Hwyaden's Ten-Seat Council but operates as the de facto ruler of Minami. She manipulates Nureha, the guild's figurehead, through blackmail derived from their real-world junior high school acquaintance, exploiting Nureha's insecurities to enforce an "Eternal Ruler" persona. Her overarching goal is the conquest of Yamato to establish herself as its supreme ruler, enabling her to "look down on everyone else."

During the "Gold of the Kunie" arc, she oversees policies opposing the People of the Earth and manages Adventurer relations. In the "Noosphere" arc, she protests Kazuhiko's order to cease hostilities with Eastal, demanding clarification on collaborating with "traitor Shiroe." When Nureha directs her to normalize relations, Indicus attempts physical retaliation but is restrained by Kazuhiko. She reluctantly complies, though later smirks upon learning the Round Table Alliance might initiate contact first.

The "Collapse of the Round Table" arc depicts a cold war between her faction and Nureha's regarding peace with Akiba and Eastal. She openly declares her control over Minami to KR, reiterating her ambition to dominate Yamato. KR confronts her about Jazar, confirming her awareness of the Genius's presence.

In other media, such as the mobile game "Log Horizon: New Adventure Land," she appears without seasonal variants. Trivia notes her name derives from *Rallus indicus* (Brown-cheeked Rail), with "Kuina" being its Japanese name. Early localization errors led to alternate spellings like "Intix" or "Indix."
