Description
Yosh Imimi, also known as Yoshio Atachi, attends Goha 7th Elementary School. He possesses a small, thin frame, pale skin, and distinctive pink eyes inherited from his mother. His black hair—longer on top, shorter at the sides and back—is usually hidden beneath a white sailor cap emblazoned with the Goha Corporation emblem. His standard outfit includes a white sailor uniform trimmed in black, black-belted shorts, white socks, and black shoes.
When embodying his "Good Yosh" persona—inspired by hero Good Max—Yosh dons a specialized suit that distorts his voice and physique to appear tall and muscular with darker skin. This costume features a black jacket with maroon shoulders and gold spikes over a blue shirt, black shorts, maroon spiked arm guards, knee-high boots with gold knee spikes, a maroon belt with a gold buckle, and a charcoal helmet sporting silver horns, a yellow explosion pattern, and a jagged jaw-style mask. The helmet incurs damage during a duel with Luke but is subsequently repaired.
Timid yet excitable, Yosh often acts impulsively. He misinterpreted Luke's advice due to its similarity to his hero's catchphrase, pressuring Luke to intervene when his mother threatened to withhold his favorite meal over Rush Dueling. Despite initial insecurity, Yosh cherishes his mother and passionately enjoys Rush Dueling, demonstrating genuine enthusiasm even after losing to Luke. Guided by Luke, he acknowledges his habit of imitation and commits to voicing his true feelings. His mother notes parallels between Yosh and Yuga Ohdo.
Typically polite in speech, Yosh adopts a gruff, assertive tone as Good Yosh, using phrases like "mama" and descriptors such as "destructive" and "hellish." He wields a Beast Gear World Deck and participates in documented duels: losing to Luke in episodes 8 and 86 (the latter off-screen) but defeating his mother, Mimi Imimi, in episode 20.
In *Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links*, Yosh appears as a non-playable Standard Duelist in the SEVENS Duel World. His journey involves balancing his Rush Dueling passion with family expectations, culminating in personal growth as he embraces his authentic self.
