Description
No. 6, whose real name is Rokuro Nomura and who is also known as the Scarred Man, is the main antagonist of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. He was a member of the Villain Factory and was manipulated from a young age by All For One to become a villain. His background is rooted in a deep lack of personal identity and an overwhelming desire for recognition and purpose. From his earliest memories, he was trained to admire the former professional hero known as O'Clock, whose real name is Iwao Oguro, with the intention of eventually becoming his successor, an identity he sought under the alias O'Clock II. This fixation on O'Clock became the central obsession of his life.

Personality-wise, No. 6 is complex and driven by a desperate need to forge a true identity for himself, which is entirely linked to his obsession with O'Clock. This lack of a stable sense of self makes him highly manipulable, and All For One exploited this vulnerability to mold him into a weapon. He is a tragic figure in the sense that his villainy is rooted in a manufactured and hollow upbringing, but he is also ruthless, unstable, and single-minded in his pursuit of what he believes is his destiny. His motivations revolve entirely around proving his worth by surpassing or replacing O'Clock, and he sees the protagonist, Koichi Haimawari, as a direct obstacle to this goal, developing an intense personal hatred for him.

In the story, No. 6 serves as the primary physical and ideological threat to the vigilantes of Naruhata. He initially operates in the shadows as a member of the Villain Factory, perpetrating crimes and conflicts that draw the main characters into a larger, more dangerous world. He also briefly operated as a professional hero under the alias Rock, using the name O'Clock II, a move that directly tied into his obsession. His role escalates as he directly confronts Koichi, Knuckleduster, and their allies, pushing them to their limits. His key relationships are defined by his obsession with Iwao Oguro, his former master and the source of his desire for identity; his manipulative relationship with All For One, who granted him multiple quirks and set him on his destructive path; and his adversarial relationship with Koichi Haimawari, whom he views as a rival unworthy of the heroic ideals he covets. Over the course of the story, his development is one of escalating instability, as his obsession consumes him and drives him to increasingly desperate and dangerous transformations, culminating in a monstrous physical form.

No. 6 is notable for possessing multiple quirks, all of which were bestowed upon him by All For One. His primary and most defining quirk is Overclock, a powerful speed enhancement that was originally taken from Knuckleduster. Overclock dramatically accelerates his perception and reflexes, allowing him to perceive the world in slow motion and move at incredible speeds. In addition to Overclock, he has a number of other quirks that he uses in combination, including Radio Waves, which allows him to generate powerful electromagnetic pulses capable of shutting down power and communications in an area and giving him control over technology; Self-Detonation, which enables his body to explode as an attack; Regeneration, which grants him rapid healing from injuries; and Bombify, which allows him to produce bombs from within his body. This versatile and lethal arsenal, combined with his obsession-driven ferocity, makes him an extraordinarily dangerous opponent for the vigilantes.
