TV-Series
Description
Danto, also known as the Feego King, is the leader of the Feego Tribe and a commander serving under Yo Tan Wa in the Qin military. His appearance is striking and formidable, characterized by a very large stature. He wears a distinctive mask typical of his tribe that covers most of his face except for his eyes and mouth while emphasizing his chin. His attire includes numerous straps across his torso and limbs, complemented by fur worn around the upper half of his body and legs.

In terms of personality, Danto is notably arrogant and possesses a crude sense of admiration for Yo Tan Wa, which he expresses openly and without shame. His fixation on the mountain tribe leader stems from both her extraordinary martial might and her beauty, leading him to make lewd comments such as expressing a desire to bury his head in her nethers or stating that bedding her would be worth dying a hundred times. This attitude reflects a broader motivation that drives him and other tribe leaders who have gathered under Yo Tan Wa's banner. Rather than attempting to conquer her by force, which would result in certain death, Danto and his peers serve in her army with the hope that by accumulating enough achievements, Yo Tan Wa might willingly accept their advances. This crude pragmatism underscores his predatory yet calculating nature.

Before joining the Yo Tan Wa Army, Danto and his Feego Tribe were engaged in fierce battles against her forces, indicating that their current alliance was forged through combat and the recognition of her overwhelming strength. Within the story, Danto first appears during the Battle of Ryouyou, where he is seen speaking with Ba Jio about why the various selfish tribe leaders submitted to Yo Tan Wa. During the battle against the Zhao army and the Quanrong residents of Ryouyou, he plays an active combat role. He takes his tribe to fight Tork, the youngest brother of a rival force, and despite losing half of his men, he manages to kill Tork with a single strike of his glaive. Following this accomplishment, he leads a counterattack against the Quanrong commanders Shun Sui Ju and King Rozo. He duels the Quanrong King, holding his own for a time though eventually being overpowered, and is only saved from being killed when Heki intervenes to slay the Quanrong ruler.

Key relationships for Danto include his position as a subordinate commander to Yo Tan Wa, to whom he owes his allegiance and directs his crude admiration. He also interacts with other leaders within her army, such as Ba Jio, and demonstrates professional respect for fellow soldier Heki during combat when he instructs his companion Pam to relay orders to Heki about falling back to reform their line. His relationship with his own Feego Tribe is that of a charismatic leader capable of inspiring them to fight even against superior numbers.

In terms of development, Danto arrives as an already formidable and arrogant chieftain who begrudgingly acknowledges Yo Tan Wa's superiority. His experiences on the battlefield do not soften his personality but do reinforce his role as a reliable, if crudely spoken, commander who can be counted on to follow strategic orders and deliver results. By the end of the eight-day struggle, he is shown observing the mountain tribes' infighting and acknowledging the army's precarious situation, demonstrating a degree of tactical awareness.

Notable abilities of Danto include his prowess as a powerful warrior, which befits his status as a king of a mountain tribe. He fights effectively on horseback using a glaive as his primary weapon. His leadership skills allow him to command his tribe in battle, even when facing a numerically superior opponent. His martial talent is proven when he kills the young commander Tork with a single decisive blow. Furthermore, he demonstrates the ability to fight on par with Rozo, the King of the Quanrong Tribe, a testament to his strength, though he is not quite strong enough to overcome the Quanrong king in single combat.
